First Day at Home

Cub and Shish hit it off right away. Don’t be discouraged by the look at Shish’s face. He was very curious and wanted to know more about his new friend.

Shish is 7 years old and had a dog pal Sophia, for all of his life. When Sophia was gone, Shish was sad but eventually felt ok being solo getting all the attention to himself. But after a while, he began to show signs of depression. He didn't want to socialize with us as much and he spent a lot of time looking under the furnace closet door. He would spend hours looking at the flicking lights and listening to the sounds of the furnace. I still don't understand what it really means but I knew he needed a friend again.
